Here are a few ways we’ve been doing it lately:

        •       Full-on Cherry Cola: all-over colour( tint) deep and rich, for maximum coverage . 

        •       Balayage Cherry Cola: painted-on cherry tones that melt into your brunette base  perfect if you want dimension.

        •       Gloss treatment: adds cherry undertones without a big commitment. Great for anyone wanting a taster for cherry cola . 

The fun part is tailoring it. One client might walk out with dark vampy cherry red that looks almost black indoors that will show more in day light , whilst another might leave with a brighter, ruby tone that glows when it hits the sunlight. That’s the beauty of it  it’s not “one colour fits all.”

Will it suit me? 

One of the biggest questions we get is: “But will Cherry Cola actually suit me?” The good news is, yes … with a few tweaks, it really does suit everyone and we can personalise the look to your vibe and  personality! 

        •       If you’ve got fair skin, we’ll often add a brighter cherry element to lift your complexion.

        •       For olive or medium skin, rich cola tones with subtle red glints look stunning.

        •       On deep skin, a bold, glossy cherry pops beautifully and feels really luxe.

We’ve also been loving face-framing highlights with Cherry Cola such as money pieces of just a few foils  to break up your natural colour !  just those little pops around your hairline makes a huge impact . It brightens the face and makes the colour look more expensive and trendy . 

Keeping it fresh at home

Now for the boring but important part the MAINTENANCE : 

Cherry Cola is lower maintenance than bright reds, but you’ll still need to show it some love to keep it looking glossy between salon visits.

Here’s what we recommend (and yes, we nag our clients about this in the nicest possible way!) 

        •       Use colour-safe shampoo and conditioner. Colour protection shampoo is your best friend!  we recommend “Wella Colour Brilliance”

        •       Wash less often. Two or three times a week with cooler water  is plenty enough. 

        •       Cooler showers. We know, it’s hard in autumn, but hot water strips colour faster.

        •       Always use heat protection. Straighteners and curlers are fine just don’t fry your colour.

        •       Pop back for a gloss. Quick, easy, using toners can make  your Cherry Cola looking  brand new shiny and glossy !
